Zales Jewelers, the American leader retailer of a brand name in jewelry has 614 stores in 50 states and Puerto Rico. Store sizes average nearly 1,700 square feet. Zales was founded by Morris (M.B.) Zale, William Zale, and Ben Lipshy in 1924 in Wichita Falls, Texas. The three had a vision of giving customers high-quality merchandise at rock bottom prices. Hence first Zales Jewelers was opened. Making upscale jewelry affordable for everyone was made possible through their original credit plan.
