JCPenney and Macy’s anchoring Fox River Mall in Appleton, Wisconsin, at the Interstate 41 and Wisconsin Highway 125 interchange, give the 1.1 million square foot super-regional mall a comparison-shopping platform for the Appleton, Neenah, Menasha, and Fox Cities metropolitan area. Scheels, the Spirit Lake, Iowa-founded outdoor and sporting goods destination whose Wisconsin locations serve the Fox Valley’s hunting, fishing, and ice fishing culture, gives the property a sporting goods identity alongside lululemon for the premium activewear occasion. Target serves the general merchandise category as part of the broader Fox River Mall commercial node rather than as an enclosed-mall anchor. OrangeTheory Fitness serves the boutique fitness category.
Fox River Brewery Company, the Appleton-founded craft brewery and restaurant established in 1995, gives the property a locally-rooted dining and brewery identity that the Appleton household treats as a specifically Fox Valley commercial institution. Rocky Rococo, the Wisconsin pan-style pizza institution, serves the quick-service pizza category. Red Lobster, P.F. Chang’s, Cheddar’s, and IHOP serve the full-service and casual dining floor. Bob’s Discount Furniture, Pottery Barn, Cost Plus World Market, and LoveSac serve the home furnishings and décor categories. Sephora, Lush, and Bath and Body Works serve the prestige and accessible beauty categories.
American Eagle, Aerie, Banana Republic, Buckle, J. Crew, Eddie Bauer, Express, Garage, H&M, Hollister, Maurices, LOFT, Talbots, and White House Black Market cover the accessible and lifestyle fashion floor. Pandora, Rogers and Hollands, and Zales serve the jewelry and gifting floor. David’s Bridal serves the bridal and formal occasion category. T-Mobile serves the telecom category. The property’s commercial position is the Fox Valley super-regional at the US-41 Appleton corridor: a JCPenney-Macy’s comparison-shopping anchor whose Fox River Brewery community identity, Scheels outdoor floor, and Rocky Rococo Wisconsin pizza serve the Appleton and Fox Cities household as the primary enclosed retail and dining destination for the Fox River Valley.
