From its inception in 1982 Miami International Mall was a haven for shoppers and strollers with its indoor trees and five wishing well fountains. Young and old alike liked to watch the children's train, and a large cascading floor level fountain in center court.
In 2000, Miami International Mall underwent a huge renovation with an international theme. The trees and fountains were removed to give the mall a more modern and upscale look like the Dadeland Mall, another Simon Malls property.
Miami International Mall has over 140 specialtyincluding: Bath and Body Works, Cache, Mayor's Jewelers, Nine West, Pandora, Victoria's Secret. "Kidgits Korner" a children's play area and The Knife Restaurant and Johnny Rockets as well as a well-stocked Food Court make Miami International Mall a popular destination for tourists, travelers and people living in Miami Dade County.
