Square One Mall - the former New England Shopping Center. The mall offers one-stop shopping convenience for Boston area shoppers with 115 specialty stores and restaurants. Anchor stores: Macy's, Sears, Best Buy and TJ Maxx & Homegoods
Square One Mall’s central location eight miles north of Boston just off Route 1 makes shopping convenient for the Boston area Northshore residents. Shop and grab a quick bite at the 350-seat food court or one of the dine-in restaurants. Square One has undergone extensive renovations of this mid-1980’s mall.
This $100 million project of New England Development Corporation incorporated the previously built structure of Sears. Unique to the mall is a model of the planet Uranus, located in the food court. It is part of the Boston Museum of Science's scale solar system model.
