About The Face Shop

The Face Shop is a South Korea-based skincare and cosmetics maker, retailer and a franchise business. It is a subsidiary of LG Household & Health Care of LG Corporation. Its products include body, bath, skin care and make-up aimed at both women and men. Its headquarters is in the LG Gwanghwamun Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The company’s marketing is primarily based on natural products, using natural ingredients from all over the world.

The Face Shop was launched in December 2003 with one store in Myeongdong. In 2007, The Face Shop opened its first stores in the USA in the San Francisco Bay Area and the west coast. In November 2009, the company was bought by LG Household & Health Care and became a subsidiary in January 2010. As of April 2012, it has 930 stores in 22 countries. There are 23 The Face Shop stores in Singapore.
