Built in 1985 by Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, Masonville’s retail owners include some first to market retailers such as Forever 21, Apple, Victoria’s Secret, Aritzia, Lululemon Athletica, MAC Cosmetics, Nine West, L’Occitane en Provence and Banana Republic. Masonville was the first multi-level shopping centre in London. It was originally anchored by: Sears, Eaton’s, and Loblaws.
In 1991, an expansion added 75 new stores and services and an indoor miniature golf course, later replaced by more stores. Zellers store added 1994 changed to Target in 2013.
A new standalone Loblaws moved in across the street on the northeast corner of Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street. The Eaton’s store bankrupt and was replaced with The Bay.
