Hallmark is the largest private company manufacturing greeting cards in the United States. The company is over a century old. Hallmark was founded by a teenage entrepreneur with a couple of shoeboxes of postcards under his arm and the American dream in his plans. Today, Hallmark is a $4 billion business selling greeting cards and other products in its 40,000 retail stores across the U.S.
