Coralville, Iowa, adjacent to the University of Iowa campus at Interstate 80 and US-6, positions Coral Ridge Mall as the primary enclosed retail format for the Iowa City-Coralville metropolitan area. Scheels All Sports, the Iowa-founded large-format sporting goods and entertainment retailer, anchors the property as its most commercially significant tenant: Scheels’ store model integrates sporting goods, hunting, fishing, camping, and outdoor equipment with entertainment features and restaurant services across a footprint substantially larger than standard sporting goods formats, giving the Coral Ridge property a regional sporting goods destination draw from the Iowa City-Coralville and eastern Iowa consumer base.
Dillard’s and JCPenney anchor the traditional department store tier alongside Target for general merchandise and Marshalls for off-price fashion and home. Sephora and Ulta Beauty give the property dual prestige and mass beauty destination anchors. Best Buy anchors the consumer electronics category. Planet Fitness serves the health and fitness category. The Iowa Children’s Museum, operating inside the mall, gives families with young children a direct cultural and educational destination draw. The BODYARMOR Ice Rink gives the property a year-round indoor ice skating and recreational destination that generates visit frequency from the Iowa City youth hockey and figure skating population.
H&M, American Eagle, Aerie, Buckle, Carter’s, Eddie Bauer, Express, Hot Topic, Journeys, Maurices, Old Navy, Ragstock, Victoria’s Secret, and Windsor cover the accessible fashion floor. JD Sports, Scheels, and Zumiez cover the sporting goods register. Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Chili’s, Chick-fil-A, and Panera Bread serve the full-service and fast-casual dining tier. Coral Ridge Mall’s commercial profile rests on its Scheels large-format outdoor sports anchor, Iowa Children’s Museum, and indoor ice rink, giving the mall a multi-occasion structure that the University of Iowa community, the Iowa City medical and professional household, and the eastern Iowa regional consumer each use for distinct visits the standard enclosed mall floor alone does not produce.
Quick options include Charley's Philly Steak, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Panera Bread and Sarku Japan.
