7-Eleven is part of an international chain of convenience stores. 7-Eleven, initially operating as a franchise, is the world’s largest operator, and licensor of convenience stores with more than 50,000 outlets. Their stores are located in 16 countries with its biggest markets being Japan (15,000), the United States (7,800), Thailand (6,800), Indonesia, Canada, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Among 7-Eleven’s offerings is private label related products, including Slurpee, a partially frozen soft drink first introduced in 1967, and the Big Gulp first introduced in 1980 (packaged soft drinks in large cups).
