Ontario Mills occupies 132,891 sqm (1.43 million square feet) in Ontario at the intersection of the I-10 and I-15, operated by Simon Property Group as a hybrid of off-price anchor mall and major entertainment destination. The format is structurally distinct from both the conventional regional mall and the pure outlet centre: Nordstrom Rack, Saks OFF 5TH, Burlington, and Marshalls create an anchor tier spanning off-price premium through hard off-price within a single campus, enabling a single trip to serve the deal-seeking Inland Empire consumer and the premium outlet visitor travelling from as far as Riverside and Palm Springs.
The entertainment concentration is among the deepest of any Inland Empire retail property. AMC, Dave and Buster’s, The Improv Comedy Club, a Disney Store Outlet, and POP MART collectively make the property an evening and weekend destination independent of shopping occasion. The fashion register runs from Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Tory Burch, and Lacoste at the accessible-premium end through True Religion, Perry Ellis, and Nautica, most in factory-outlet or off-price format. Pottery Barn Outlet anchors the home off-price category.
The Ontario catchment spans San Bernardino County’s western corridor and draws from the Pomona-Claremont communities at the LA County border and from Riverside County for the entertainment anchors absent in those markets. The I-10 and I-15 interchange makes Ontario Mills the most accessible regional retail destination from three county freeway networks simultaneously.
For brands operating dual full-price and outlet distribution, Ontario Mills provides simultaneous reach to the Inland Empire mid-market majority and the premium outlet visitor, in a format where the entertainment anchors extend visit frequency well beyond comparable outlet properties.
Sit-down dining at the property includes Rainforest Cafe. Quick options include Blaze Pizza, Burger King, Charley's Philly Steak, Chipotle and Jollibee.
