Dave and Buster’s, SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord, The Escape Game, and The Speedpark at Concord Mills operating simultaneously within a single enclosed outlet format produce an entertainment and attraction concentration that converts Concord Mills from a pure outlet shopping destination into the Charlotte metro’s primary entertainment-outlet hybrid. The 1.4 million square foot Simon property at I-85 and Bruton Smith Boulevard in Concord, adjacent to Charlotte Motor Speedway, draws from Cabarrus County’s resident base and from the full Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia metropolitan area on a dual-visit thesis: the attraction visit whose primary motivation is entertainment or experience, and the outlet visit whose primary motivation is off-price fashion and sporting goods purchases. Charlotte Motor Speedway, North America’s highest-capacity motorsport venue, generates race-day and event traffic that supplements the property’s baseline retail and entertainment visit volume with a tourism and sports-fan overlay specific to the North Carolina automotive and NASCAR cultural identity.
Bass Pro Shops occupies one of the largest single retail footprints in the property. Dick’s Sporting Goods serves the general sporting goods category. The accessible luxury outlet tier runs Coach, Kate Spade, and Polo Ralph Lauren. The fashion register covers the full American outlet and value brand range across Aerie, American Eagle, Banana Republic Factory, Brooks Brothers, Gap, H&M, J. Crew, Levi’s, LOFT, Tommy Hilfiger, True Religion Outlet, and Victoria’s Secret. Burlington anchors the off-price department store position.
The dining component reflects the Concord and Cabarrus County market’s Southern culinary identity. Mac’s Speed Shop, the Charlotte-born motorcycle-themed BBQ and bar chain with strong regional cultural recognition, anchors the full-service dining occasion alongside Bonefish Grill, On The Border, Outback Steakhouse, Shake Shack, and Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe. That F&B depth converts Concord Mills from a shopping destination with a food court into a dining destination with adjacent retail, sustaining dwell time across the full operating day. For expansion teams evaluating the Charlotte North market, Concord Mills provides the primary trade area access to the Cabarrus County household alongside the motorsport and NASCAR tourism overlay that supplements the resident catchment with event-driven commercial demand.
Sit-down dining at the property includes BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, Bonefish Grill, Outback Steakhouse and The Cheesecake Factory. Quick options include Burger King, Chipotle, Firehouse Subs, Popeyes and Shake Shack.
Other attractions at the property include The Escape Game and Dave & Buster's.
