Mango is a Spanish fashion retailer offering contemporary clothing, accessories, and footwear for men and women.
Mango is the second-largest Spanish fashion group after Inditex, operating under the legal entity Mango MNG SA (formerly Punto Fa SL) and the Mango MNG Holding parent. The group entered its first full fiscal year without founder Isak Andic, who died in December 2024 in a mountain accident at age 71. Toni Ruiz was confirmed as Chairman and CEO in January 2025, having served as CEO and Andic’s senior deputy in the years prior. Jonathan Andic, the founder’s eldest son, holds the vice-chairmanship.
Founded in Barcelona in 1984 by brothers Isak and Nahman Andic, Mango ended fiscal year 2025 with revenues of €3.767 billion, up 12.82% year-over-year, putting the company €233 million away from its 2026 strategic plan target of €4 billion. Operating profit reached €371 million (+9.12%), net profit €242 million (+11.01%), and net financial debt stood at €165 million. The 4E plan covering 2024-2026 (Elevate, Expand, Earn, Empower) targets €600 million in investment and 500 net store openings over three years, with 260 gross openings completed in 2024 and another 260 in 2025. Ownership remains family-controlled at 95% through Mango MNG Holding, owned by siblings Jonathan, Judith, and Sara Andic, with the remaining 5% held by Toni Ruiz. An IPO has been ruled out repeatedly. The board has been reinforced with independent directors, including Helena Helmersson (former H&M CEO), Manel Adell, and Puig CEO Marc Puig.
Mango closed 2025 with 2,931 stores across more than 120 markets, comprising 935 company-owned units and 1,996 franchises, generating average sales of €4,233 per square meter across 890,000 square meters of total retail surface. Spain remains the largest market at €818 million, while Germany leads in store count at 494 locations. Online accounts for one-third of group sales. In the United States, Mango added 31 stores in 2025, with 2026 plans including first openings in Washington, Illinois, Nevada, Connecticut, Arizona, Ohio, Oregon, and Louisiana, plus a 13,000 square-foot Broadway flagship in Manhattan. For mall operators, Mango is a Class A junior anchor with proven sales-per-square-meter performance and an active US growth corridor focused on the Sun Belt and Northeast.
