Cite Europe

About this mall

Located right by the Channel Tunnel, Cité Europe is an international shopping centre.
Both a seaside shopping centre and a must-see tourist stopover for those crossing the Channel, Cité Europe has about 170 shops, a Carrefour hypermarket, 12 movie theatres and an incomparable “Gourmet City” with about twenty restaurants.
Not to be missed for its shopping, its leisure or simply exploring, especially the many fashion boutiques, gift or furniture shops, and above all Gourmet City and its design, featuring mock typical facades, welcoming streets and squares that recreate the respective feel of the various European countries.
As part of the construction of Eurotunnel’s French terminal, France Manche and Channel Tunnel Group asked Espace Expansion Company to build the Cité Europe Shopping Centre, which was inaugurated on March 21st, 1995.
