About this store

Founded by Michael Hagos, Lyndon “Duke” Hanson, and George Boedecker, Jr. the goal with Crocs, Inc. shoe manufacturing was to produce and distribute a foam clog. The original design was acquired from a Quebec company, Foam Creations. Originally been developed as a spa shoe, the first Crocs model was Crocs, the Beach. This revolutionary new shoe design was unveiled in 2002 at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in Florida. At its inaugural show, Crocs, the Beach sold out. 200 pairs went in no time.
Today, Crocs are made in a wide variety of styles, colors, sizes, and purposes. Manufactured in the Crocs production facilities in Mexico, Crocs also has contract manufacturers in Italy, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vietnam, China, and Argentina.
Crocs shapes appear in an extensive array of colors and models. Crocs Classics are available in more than twenty colors in sizes ranging from small children’s sizes to men’s Crocs. Other styles appear in four to six colors or two-color combinations.
Crocs fashion accessories are also available. Jibbitz, decorations that can be clipped to the ventilation holes in the shoes. These are aimed at children and feature Disney characters. The company has also released a line of purses in a variety of colors.
A “Fuzz Collection” with removable wooly liners extends the range to winter wear. Crocs have recently acquired Bite Footwear and plan to enter the golf shoe market.
