Oysho is the women’s lingerie, athleisure, and beachwear banner inside Inditex, the Spanish fast-fashion group that also operates Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, and Zara Home. The brand was launched in 2001 as Inditex’s dedicated entry into the lingerie and homewear category, positioned in the accessible women’s intimate apparel segment between premium specialty chains and mass-market underwear lines.
Oysho generated net sales of €831 million in fiscal year 2024, up 11.8% year-over-year, contributing to Inditex’s group revenue of €38.6 billion. The brand’s product strategy expanded significantly during the 2020s to incorporate athleisure, swimwear, and a strong yoga and pilates collection, capitalizing on the post-pandemic shift in women’s wellness and at-home consumer behavior. The “Sport” sub-collection, launched and progressively expanded since approximately 2018, has become a meaningful share of the assortment and a differentiator versus pure lingerie specialists such as Etam, Calzedonia’s Intimissimi, or Victoria’s Secret. Like all Inditex banners, Oysho benefits from the group’s vertically integrated supply chain, with twice-weekly replenishment from the Arteixo, Galicia headquarters. The brand suspended Russian operations in 2022. In 2025, Oysho opened its first stores in the Netherlands and Germany, part of Inditex’s continued European geographical expansion alongside first-time Bershka entries in Sweden and Massimo Dutti and Bershka entries in Denmark.
Oysho operates approximately 670 stores across more than 50 countries, with the largest concentrations in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, Mexico, Turkey, and the Middle East. The Inditex group operated 5,563 stores total at the end of FY2024. For mall operators, Oysho is a Class A and Class B+ specialty tenant typically taking 200 to 500 square meters, fitting alongside Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Tezenis, and Hunkemöller in the women’s lingerie and athleisure cluster. The Inditex co-tenancy package frequently places Oysho adjacent to Stradivarius and Zara Home in larger regional centers.
