Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament occupying a major entertainment anchor position at Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville, Georgia, alongside Bass Pro Shops, Dave and Buster’s, and AMC Theatres, with the Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites hotels adjacent to the complex, gives the property a combined retail-entertainment-hospitality footprint that positions it as a full-day destination for the Gwinnett County household and the broader northeast Atlanta consumer. No competing enclosed mall format in the Atlanta metro combines a medieval dinner theater, a Bass Pro Shops large-format outdoor sporting goods store, and hotels within easy walking distance of a single mixed commercial complex that the 1.1 million square foot Sugarloaf Mills envelope produces in the I-85 corridor at Sugarloaf Parkway.
Burlington and Ross Dress For Less serve the value and off-price department store tier. Primark gives the property international volume fast fashion. Cavender’s, the Texas-origin western and workwear retailer, occupies the western boots and lifestyle apparel category. Bass Pro Shops serves the full outdoor sporting goods, hunting, and fishing category for the northeast Georgia consumer whose proximity to Lake Lanier, the Chattahoochee National Forest, and the North Georgia mountain corridor drives consistent outdoor retail purchasing. La Michoacana serves the Mexican market dining segment for the Gwinnett County Hispanic consumer that the county’s position as one of the most ethnically diverse in the Southeast produces.
Dave and Buster’s anchors the entertainment and dining category. Medieval Times serves the group dining and event entertainment segment that draws from the full Atlanta metro as a destination experience. Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites, adjacent to the complex, give the entertainment visitor convenient overnight accommodation for a multi-experience Gwinnett County trip. The property’s market position is the northeast Atlanta entertainment-retail hybrid: the I-85 corridor from the northeast Atlanta suburbs to the Gwinnett County exurban residential base produces a catchment at Sugarloaf Parkway that no other Atlanta-area enclosed format serves with this combination of outdoor sporting goods, dinner theater, and adjacent hotel accommodation.
Quick options include Burger King, Charley's Philly Steak, Panda Express, Popeyes and Sbarro.
