Dillard’s, JCPenney, and Macy’s anchor Mall of Louisiana at the Bluebonnet Boulevard and Essen Lane interchange in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a Simon Property Group super-regional mall whose state capital government, Louisiana State University, ExxonMobil and petrochemical industry employment, and healthcare sector give the East Baton Rouge Parish trade area a professional and institutional purchasing culture. Dick’s House of Sport, in the former Sears anchor space, occupies the large-format next-generation sporting goods and experiential retail position. Main Event anchors the entertainment floor with bowling, arcade gaming, and laser tag. AMC Theatres anchors the cinema occasion. Blue Zoo Aquarium adds the family-destination attraction draw that converts shopping-day visits into full-day occasions.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the Baton Rouge-founded chain that originated in this market before its national expansion, and Shake Shack cover the premium quick-service dining floor. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse and J. Alexander’s anchor the full-service casual dining tier. Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro, the Louisiana-founded restaurant chain, and Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, the Baton Rouge premium jeweller, provide locally-rooted commercial identities that a purely national tenant roster does not replicate. Pottery Barn anchors the premium home goods floor. Sephora and Ulta Beauty cover the dual prestige and accessible beauty occasion.
Mall of Louisiana’s commercial position in the Baton Rouge metro is the Bluebonnet Boulevard super-regional: the Dick’s House of Sport-anchored sporting goods format, Main Event-Blue Zoo Aquarium entertainment depth, and Raising Cane’s-Copeland’s Louisiana commercial identity combine with the Dillard’s-JCPenney-Macy’s comparison-shopping platform to serve the East Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish household as the primary retail, entertainment, and dining destination in the Louisiana state capital market.
Sit-down dining at the property includes BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Quick options include Charley's Philly Steak, Chick-fil-A, Sbarro and Shake Shack.
