Malha Mall, also known as Kenyon Malcha and the Jerusalem Mall, opened in 1993 in the Malha neighborhood of southwestern Jerusalem. With approximately 40,000 square meters of GLA across three trading levels and 260 retail and dining units, it remains the largest enclosed shopping mall in greater Jerusalem.

The property anchors a wider commercial cluster that includes Teddy Stadium, the Jerusalem Pais Arena, and the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo. Major roads and rail link the site to central Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv corridor via Highway 1, and the southern districts. Roughly 2,000 free parking spaces support the regional catchment, supplemented by 3,000 square meters of office space embedded in the complex.

Tenant mix runs the standard Israeli regional-mall template: international fashion chains, leading domestic brands across fashion, beauty, electronics, and home goods, a multi-screen cinema, an extensive food court, and full-service restaurants. The mall has historically anchored the Jerusalem retail market for ultra-Orthodox, secular, and Arab residents alike, with operating hours and store roster adjusted around the city’s religious observance patterns.

Azrieli Group acquired the asset as part of its core Jerusalem strategy, alongside the smaller Hanegev Mall in Beer Sheva. The Jerusalem Mall provides the group with its sole Jerusalem retail anchor and a counterpart to its Tel Aviv flagship at Azrieli Center.

For brand expansion teams, Jerusalem Mall offers the principal entry point into the Jerusalem retail market. The catchment runs to roughly one million residents across the city and surrounding areas, with tourist and business travel from Israel, the US, and Europe adding inbound spend that Tel Aviv flagships do not capture in the same volume.
