Part-Dieu station has historically handled tens of millions of passengers annually, generating transit-oriented footfall that is not replicable by car-dependent retail schemes in the Lyon area. The centre operates as part of Westfield’s French portfolio, which supports standardised leasing processes for international brands.
La Part-Dieu consistently ranks among France’s highest-volume commercial centres by sales density. For many national and international chains, it is the primary enclosed-mall address in Lyon, and places it among the first addresses considered by brands expanding outside Paris.
