Journeys niche market is 13- to 22-year-olds. Journeys Kidz also sells clothing, underwear, shoes, sneakers, sandals, and accessories for shoppers in their preteens. At both its bricks-and-mortar and online stores, Journeys offers brands like Adidas, ASICS, BB Dakota, Ben Sherman, Birkenstock, Blowfish, BOOM Movement and Bull Boxer to name just a few. 
Journeys stores are part of the huge Genesco company founded in Nashville Tennessee. Originally Jarman Shoe Company in 1924 a footwear manufacturer, the name of the General Shoe Company in the 1930s taking its current name, Genesco, in 1959.
