Tatuum’s founder closed a management buyout in August 2024, with Paweł Kapłon (former Gino Rossi Group CEO) acquiring controlling shareholder status backed by Accession Capital Partners through the firm’s €336 million ACP Fund V. The Polish capsule fashion brand was founded in 1997 in Łódź and operates under KAN Sp. z o.o. ACP, a Central European growth capital specialist active since 2000 with offices in Vienna, Warsaw, Bucharest, Budapest, and Prague, has anchored the next-stage expansion plan.

The brand’s strategic direction under new ownership is aggressive Central and Eastern European expansion. Tatuum reported 330 million PLN in 2023 revenue with 17% year-over-year growth and 35 million PLN EBITDA, generating a base for a stated plan of 20 to 30 new store openings annually. Romania became the first new market entry in 2025 with a 40-location target, followed by planned expansion into the Balkan and Baltic countries. Former Inditex Polska CEO joined the Tatuum board in October 2024, signaling depth on the operational expansion side.

Tatuum operates 131 stores across Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, with more than 100 in Poland alone, supported by an e-commerce platform reaching 30 European markets through marketplaces including Zalando. The brand positions in slow-fashion territory with a capsule-wardrobe philosophy, supported by a 10-year garment guarantee and Lifetime Repair Service through the TUUGETHER Club. For mall operators in Central and Eastern Europe, Tatuum is one of the highest-velocity store-opening counterparties in the womenswear mid-tier, with leasing decisions concentrated in Łódź under the new Kapłon-led organization.
