Stüssy is set to open a new flagship store in New York’s Nolita neighborhood. After closing its SoHo location in late 2023, the California-based company is making a comeback with a 5,600-square-foot space at 50 Prince Street, previously home to the independent bookstore McNally Jackson. Expansion continues after successful pop-up This new flagship follows Stüssy’s recent success with an archive pop-up store in Brooklyn, which ran for one month in spring, showcasing rare collaborations and vintage items. The brand’s return to Manhattan marks a strategic move to regain its foothold in New York’s competitive fashion market. Part of global growth strategy The opening in New York is part of a broader expansion for Stüssy, which has also launched flagship stores in Chengdu, China, and Milan, Italy, earlier this year.
