It is the southernmost mall in Orange County and the Los Angeles Metro Area. The mall features major stores including Nordstrom, Macy*s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gap, Tommy Bahama, The Apple Store, Williams-Sonoma and others. It opened in 1979 as the Mission Viejo Mall, and adopted its current name in 1999 when it was extensively renovated.
It is located off the 5 freeway and Crown Valley Parkway.
