Pocono Premium Outlets, formerly The Crossings Premium Outlets, sits off Interstate 80 at Exit 299 in Tannersville, placing the outlet center on the main New York City and northern New Jersey driving corridor into the Pocono Mountains resort market. The 476,000 square foot Simon property draws from the weekend tourist visitor whose Pocono ski, whitewater, or resort trip naturally accommodates an outlet stop on the outbound or return leg of an I-80 journey, alongside the Monroe County, Carbon County, and Lehigh Valley resident base that treats Tannersville as the nearest full-service premium outlet within the mountain corridor between Allentown and the Delaware Water Gap.
The accessible luxury outlet tier runs Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Polo Ralph Lauren. Brooks Brothers, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Gap, J. Crew, Nautica, Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, and Eddie Bauer serve the mid-market fashion outlet comparison floor. Levi’s, Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Abercrombie and Fitch cover the denim and casual youth fashion outlet register. Columbia, Nike, Reebok, and Finish Line serve the sportswear outlet category. Johnston and Murphy, Cole Haan, Clarks, Aerosoles, and Famous Footwear cover the footwear outlet floor. Timberland Outlet gives the property a premium outdoor footwear and apparel outlet position that the Pocono Mountain consumer uses for hiking, fishing, and skiing footwear purchasing at outlet price points.
Kay Jewelers and Movado serve the jewelry and watch outlet categories. Yankee Candle covers the home fragrance and gift occasion. Samsonite and Fossil serve the travel accessories and watch outlet positions. The property’s commercial position is the I-80 Pocono corridor outlet: the Exit 299 geometry places Pocono Premium Outlets on the driving route for New York and New Jersey consumers whose Pocono destination weekend begins and ends on I-80, enabling an outlet shopping visit as part of a trip whose primary purpose is mountain recreation rather than retail.
