It also has a large food court and outdoor shopping center. It has a sandbox and play area for children, and many hang-out spots for teens and young adults. It also includes many kiosks outside of the shops that have a variety of items to buy. The mall includes several water features outside; one a 30 foot natural waterfall and a smaller pond feature outside the food court.

The FlatIron Crossing mall is one of three shopping venues in the FlatIron Improvement District, which operates the free Zip Shopping Shuttle.
