Fashion giant Kering, specializing in manufacturing and selling luxury goods, will create a separate Beauté division. The division will work with portfolio brands Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen to help them develop new perfume and cosmetic products.
Raffaello Cornaggi, who previously held an executive position at Estée Lauder and worked with Tom Ford Beauty, MAC Cosmetics, and Aerin, has been appointed general manager of the new Beauté division.
The company said in an official statement that the new division “will develop beauty category expertise for Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen, as well as Qeelin and Pomellato.”
The Beauté division will “support these brands in developing the beauty category, which is a natural extension of the group’s universe.” Through the launch of the new division, the company expects to create special value for its brands, taking into account their individuality “in accordance with their strategy and positioning in the market.”
