LVMH-affiliated Italian luxury fashion house Fendi, specializing in clothing, leather and fur, accessories and perfumes, has announced the opening its largest flagship in Japan.
The opening comes just a week after the launch of Fendi’s first flagship shop in South Korea. The shop is located in the Omotesando district, one of Tokyo’s most prestigious shopping locations.

The new shop has been designed by the brand’s in-house team of architects, following the latest global concept and incorporating design elements from the brand’s headquarters in Palazzo Della Civilta Italiana.
The flagship is characterized by its geometric diagonal design. The exterior is made of steel and features a glass showcase illuminated by fifteen LED arches.

The 9,200 square foot three-level retail space features a full range of ready-to-wear, accessories and leather goods collections and the Fendi Home Decor and Fendi Kids’ Collection ranges. The shop has until the end of the year to meet all eco-regulations and achieve LEED sustainability certification.
The opening of the brand's third flagship store worldwide follows the success of the Milan-based Piazza della Scala store.
