Something similar to the App Store will appear for something four-wheeled whose name begins with T.
Elon Musk’s Tesla company will create its own online mobile application store to compete with the App Store and Google Play, which dominate the international market.
The store will initially offer applications to Tesla electric car owners, who will install them on the same basis as on Apple or Android smartphones. It will also be possible to add third-party apps to the online store in the future.
It is rumored that something similar to the App Store will appear soon for four-wheeled vehicles with names beginning with T, according to Tesla investor Sawyer Merritt.
Musk had planned to announce the launch of a mobile app store program back in late 2021, but the timing has been postponed. Teslascope, the company that runs Tesla’s trip-tracking app with the same name, announced this on Twitter.
According to the latest data, the online store of mobile applications may be launched by the end of 2022, but the exact dates have not yet been announced. Tesla also expects to release the Cybertruk electric pickup announced several years ago in 2023.
