The coronavirus pandemic has forced retailers to make major changes in their stores. For example, start by monitoring the number of visitors simultaneously in a store to allow them to maintain the necessary social distance. Coronavirus Pandemonium has made it the norm to have sanitation workers in the area and signs with all kinds of warnings.
There are other changes, such as extending Walmart hours, reserved specifically for older customers and other high-risk customers. This allows them to shop at a time when the store is not crowded.
Back in March, the company set an hour for Tuesday morning’s workday. Also, at some points of delivery, such a “window” will be valid from 7 to 8 a.m. It can be used by people over 60 years of age, as well as those categorized as high-risk by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
This option was provided by Walmart in March when it was still in its infancy. It was then extended until the end of May. The network has now stated its intention to maintain this change indefinitely.
Naturally, Walmart wasn’t the only one who went through such restrictions. Similar rules also apply to networks like Target, Dollar Tree, and Costco.
