After the recent completion of mall refurbishment, intu Bromley has stepped up the plate to offer new leases to top-grade brands that would further enhance its profile as one of UK’s most prolific destinations for premium shopping.
intu Bromley is situated in London’s third largest shopping district. It also boasts of a customer base where the majority (up to 90%) are within the ABC1 socio-economic group and are drawn from across Kent and South London.
The new outlets complement the already impressive repertoire of top-quality premium brands including Zara, Massimo Dutti, Debenhams, Jo Malone, Marks & Spencer, Carluccio’s MAC, YO! Sushi and H&M.
The recent high-profile leases include ECCO, a footwear and accessories brand; FatFace, a lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer; and Timberland, with their acclaimed range of outerwear and boots.
All three brands took a 10-year lease for their respective outlets, with ECCO Shoes taking a 1,500 square feet space near Reebok and Superdry. FatFace took a 1,800 square feet outlet near Hobbs and White Company. Timberland will occupy a 2,000 square feet retail space situated close to Apple, Hotel Chocolat and River Island. Together, they will be part of the 463,000 square feet complex with exquisite retail, catering and leisure offerings and an annual footfall of 18 million.
According to Rebecca Ryman, the regional director at intu, the recent complete revamp will provide “a contemporary backdrop for the top brands at the center.” Furthermore, she revealed that plans are underway to build “a new restaurant extension” that is expected to open to the public in Spring 2016.
The restaurant extension called the Queens Garden Restaurant Terrace will be home to five casual dining restaurants. All will be open all through the day. When completed, they will extend the current evening offering and provide a compelling experience at intu Bromley.
