This will be the second Nordstrom full-line store in the state.  The first was opened during 1997 in Connecticut at Westfarms Mall, Farmington.

The three-level, 150000ft² center, developed by General Growth Properties (GGP), is due to open during the fall of 2018.

The president of stores for the retailer, Jamie Nordstrom, expressed excitement at being part of the new shopping center.

GGP aims to offer a unique shopping environment, as well as a great place for dining and entertainment.

The center will be located at the junction of North Water Street and West Avenue, off the I-95 in the Reed Putnam Urban Renewal district.  Nordstrom will be the anchor of the new enclosed regional retail center.
