Krispy Kreme products will be available at approximately 160 new locations.
McDonald’s has decided to expand its partnership with Krispy Kreme. Starting in March 2023, Krispy Kreme products will be available at approximately 160 locations in Kentucky.
The pilot started in October 2022, when McDonald’s launched donut sales in Louisville. As part of the pilot, the company expects to explore the possibility of attracting a new audience by assessing the effect on restaurant performance.
Krispy Kreme products, including McDonald’s delivery and app, will be available at select chain restaurants throughout the day. Experts note that the expansion of cooperation indicates that the company is satisfied with the experiment’s first phase to expand the menu.
Despite the desire of American consumers to save money, McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme have reported solid sales for the past few quarters. The fast-food giant also said increased traffic at U.S. restaurants for the year’s second half. Krispy Kreme also continues to grow revenue through its extensive distribution network to grocery stores and gas stations.
