Horton Plaza opened in downtown San Diego in August 1985 and was known for its multi-level open-air design by Jon Jerde.
Stockdale Capital Partners acquired the property in 2018 and closed the retail center in 2020 to begin construction of The Campus at Horton, an office and mixed-use redevelopment that reuses parts of the original structure.
