Riverchase Galleria

Macy’s, JCPenney, and Von Maur anchor Riverchase Galleria at US-31 and Galleria Boulevard in Hoover, Alabama, as a 1.57 million square foot super-regional mall serving the Birmingham metropolitan area’s affluent southern suburban corridor. Von Maur, the Iowa-founded premium department store whose Alabama expansion represents its first presence in the state, supplies the property with a full-price fashion identity unavailable at any other Birmingham-area mall, distinguishing the tenant mix from the accessible department store-only formats of competing regional properties. Hoover draws the professional and managerial households of Vestavia Hills, Pelham, and Helena whose income profile sustains the Von Maur and Macy’s co-tenancy. Dave and Buster’s anchors entertainment and casual dining. J. Alexander’s and Outback Steakhouse cover full-service casual dining. House of Hoops by Foot Locker, JD Sports, and Champs Sports anchor the licensed athletic footwear and sportswear floor.

H&M and American Eagle anchor the accessible fashion floor. City Gear occupies the urban streetwear position specific to the Birmingham Southeast market. Victoria’s Secret covers intimate apparel. Aveda Institute anchors cosmetology education and professional beauty services. Bath and Body Works covers accessible beauty. Olive Garden and Chick-fil-A serve the casual and quick-service dining floor.
