Meriadeck

Mériadeck Mall is one of the main commercial centers of Bordeaux. Opened on 24 March 1980, it is among the main infrastructure of the modernist neighborhood Bordeaux Mériadeck .
Located a few hundred meters fr om Place Gambetta, it combines a Auchan hypermarket and othe 75 stores selling food and household goods, fashion and textile boutiques, decoration and tableware shops, and stores for hardware, electrical appliances, computers, music and books. A real Aladdin’s cave of retail wh ere household names such as Sephora, Nature et Decouverte and Etam are well-represented, and you can leisurely stroll over the three well-laid out floors. Auchan Meriadeck is a bright and convenient center for all your shopping needs.
The mall has a first-season restructuring in 2000 and 2008 (redevelopment of key areas) before being expanded in 2008 (creating an extension of 7,500 square meters called “Passages Mériadeck” and adding a third level to the hypermarket Auchan).

Direct access from the vine 16 stop Raynal (Shopping Center).
Also accessible by creepers 1, 2, 3, and line 83 to stop My Mériadeck. 
Near Passages Mériadeck, you will also find creepers 4, 5, 6, 15 and line 56 to stop Express Gallery of Fine Arts.

Planning

The mall Mériadeck form a set of 42,200 square meters,  established on four levels (one level housing a car park for 1500 cars). It has three main entrances (street entrance Claude Bonnier, Street entrance of the Water Tower and entrance to the rue Saint-Sernin) which is located directly in front of the tram station (hence the accessed directly on the ground floor or the upper levels via an external escalator). The Auchan hypermarket is built on three levels.
