Chapel Hill Mall opened in Akron, Ohio, on October 12, 1967, and was anchored over the years by Sears, JCPenney and Macy’s. The mall closed on April 18, 2021.
Industrial Commercial Properties acquired the property in 2021, removed the interior retail spaces and reopened the building as Chapel Hill Business Park, a light industrial and corporate campus at 2000 Brittain Road.
