Huawei's largest flagship store in Shanghai

The store is located in an Art Deco building, built by British real estate magnate Silas Aaron Hardoun back in 1935. While not wholly changing anything in the appearance of the building, the company completely redesigned it from the inside. As is stated at the opening of the flagship, the project received an investment of $422 million, and design works took almost five months.

The three-story store, which is dominated by bright colors, covers an area of more than 5000 square meters. It offers a full range of products manufactured by Huawei. Here, you can also find samples of products with which the Chinese brand’s techniques can interact. Examples include Bosch refrigerators and Midea robotic vacuum cleaners, with which Huawei smartphones can interact.

The main area of the store, so-called “City Square,” is a semi-public place for learning, sharing experiences, and innovations. You can get there by climbing the broad front stairs that bring all the floors together. It is stated that the store will hold free lectures on all kinds of topics – video creation, programming, fitness, music, and more. These events will be conducted by developers, artists, musicians, and other bright personalities, both from China and other countries. In total, about 60 lectures per week are expected. Representatives of the company expect that such events will regularly attract more and more new visitors to the store, who will then come back again and again.

In total, the store employs more than 220 consultants who assist in a variety of issues, not just related to Huawei products. It states that visitors will be able to get help in 10 different languages.
