Footasylum, a company known for its trendy streetwear, is set to launch a new flagship store at 73-89 Oxford Street, London, due to the continued high demand for their clothing. The 20,000-square-foot store will be open to customers in the second half of this year, with an exact opening date yet to be confirmed.
“Oxford Street is Europe’s busiest and most famous shopping street, and given Footasylum’s strong performance, we are thrilled to have a flagship store in the heart of such an iconic retail destination,” commented CEO Barry Baun.
The flagship store will be spread across two floors, with additional customer service areas and storage facilities featuring a click-and-collect function located on the store’s ground floor. The company recently announced opening a 6,000-square-foot store in the Harlequin shopping center in Watford in the third quarter of 20 and as a series of new store openings and expansions.
Footasylum is also expanding the size of several of its existing locations, including stores in Westfield Stratford City, Leeds White Rose, and the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex.
Once completed, the stores will be “significantly larger and provide an extensive offering of men’s, youth and women’s clothing.” According to Bowne, the company strives for a unique assortment of branded streetwear to be widely available throughout the U.K. The chain’s CEO expects the new store to offer customers “an incredible shopping experience and take the Footasylum brand to the next level.
The retail space is located in a prestigious location on Oxford Street.
