H&M Group’s Arket brand has made its debut in Italy with the opening of a flagship store in Milan.
Situated in the historic Medelan Building on Piazza Cordusio, the flagship spans 1,000 square meters across the ground and second floors. Originally the headquarters of Credito Italiano bank since 1902, the building provides a fitting backdrop for Arket’s fashion and lifestyle offerings. The store design reflects Arket’s minimalist aesthetic with a monochrome palette of soft greys and natural materials. It includes solid oak interiors and greenery, creating an inviting atmosphere. Arket Milan features the brand’s complete range, including ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men, as well as kidswear and bodycare products. Unique Features A highlight of the Milan flagship is its unique flooring composition, specifically designed for the location. It combines red and white marble with Arket’s custom-made terrazzo and wood flooring. This design not only pays homage to Italian and Milanese architecture but also enhances the overall customer experience with distinct room structures. Arket Café The store includes an Arket Café, led by Swedish chef Martin Berg, emphasizing food creativity and natural flavors. Apart from offering items available at other locations, the Milan café introduces a new signature treat: silky non-dairy vanilla ice cream served with seasonal sauces and toppings.
