Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand has announced opening of a summer pop-up store in downtown New York City. The temporary retail space is in a prestigious location at the Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue.
Especially for the opening, the historic building received an iridescent blue design and a diving water display. The design for Skims was specially designed by Willo Perron of Perron-Roettinger.
The Radio City Rockettes were invited to perform their kick line in clothes from the best-selling Seamless Sculpt collection to celebrate the pop-up store opening.

“We are thrilled to open our most impressive retail activation to date in Rockefeller Center. To allow everyone to participate, we’ve introduced expedited checkout with QR codes and offer pre-order appointments,” commented Jens Grede, SKIMS CEO and co-founder.
The store features the latest collections, the most popular silhouettes, and special Skims candy sets from Morgenstern’s Ice Cream. The Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center store will open through May 29.
