The brand offers a unique shopping experience combined with the latest technological innovations in retail.
California-based shoe company Skechers has opened its flagship store in Ireland. The new retail space opened its doors on Grafton Street in Dublin. Skechers has a long history of success in the Irish market. The retailer already has a concept store on Henry Street in its portfolio and four retail stores in and around Dublin.
In the new nearly 10,000-square-foot retail space, located in one of the most prestigious locations, the American brand offers a unique shopping experience combined with the latest technological innovations in retail.
According to Peter Youell, managing director for Skechers in the UK and Ireland, the new flagship features all of the brand’s footwear and apparel collections, including performance, fashion, sport, casual and work, and children’s collections. The company expects the central location, next door to major brands, to draw new customers to the store. Skechers previously unveiled a global growth plan for the brand, which projects revenue to grow to $10 billion by 2026.
The new flagship Skechers mono store is designed in the same style used by the brand around the world. At the same time, the design and assortment pay attention to the specifics of the local market. For Skechers, the new store in Dublin becomes 112 in the network in the UK and Ireland. In the U.S. today, there are 525 mono stores, and worldwide the brand is represented in more than 3,800 outlets.
