At first, stores will open in the U.S., but the company has not ruled out the possibility of European markets.
Singer Rihanna, who made a billion dollars selling her brands of lingerie Savage X Fenty and cosmetics Fenty Beauty, is thinking about creating a network of retail mono-brand stores.
“Retail is an important part of our growth strategy. “We’re definitely going to see multiple stores in 2022,” commented Christiana Pendarvis, vice president and chief marketing and design officer for Savage X Fenty, noting that many customers feel more comfortable trying on lingerie in physical stores than ordering online.
According to Bloomberg news agency, the first stage of stores will open in the United States, but the company has not ruled out the possibility of entering European markets.
Today, Rihanna’s fashion empire includes brands that provide customers with an expanded line of essential products. In particular, Fenty Beauty boasts more than 40 shades of foundation, and Savage X Fenty produces lingerie in sizes XS to 4XL. No word yet on the possibility of expanding the company’s business portfolio.
