KFC unveils new flagship store in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv welcomes the 17th addition to KFC's brand portfolio in Israel, as the renowned fast-food chain sets its sights on ongoing regional growth. Marking a significant stride, the American fast-food giant, KFC, has inaugurated its flagship store nearly three years after re-entering the country's market.



KFC had previously established and shuttered its outlets in Israel in the 1980s and 1990s. It then maintained a presence from 2003 to 2012.

In 2020, KFC made its fourth return to the Israeli market, opening a location in Nazareth, which became the brand's inaugural branch in the region. Local franchisees operated all prior establishments. On previous occasions, KFC adjusted its dish recipes to adhere to Jewish dietary laws, resulting in a higher final product cost.

This new establishment in Tel Aviv becomes the 17th KFC outlet in the country. The restaurant chain has ambitious plans to expand its footprint in this promising region further.

In March 2021, KFC's parent company, Yum! Brands, acquired Tictuk Technologies, an Israeli company specializing in omnichannel ordering and marketing. Established in 2016, Tictuk specializes in conversational commerce, leveraging chat, web, advertising, and intelligent marketing technologies to enhance customer engagement.
