Italian luxury brand Gucci has opened its new flagship store in the center of Munich. The boutique is located in the prestigious Maximilianstraße location.
At the opening with the participation of international DJs, Emilie Schule, Yannick Schumann and Felix Kruk, Aaron Altaras, Rabea Schiff, Paul Schrader, Markus Butler, Milena Karl, Vicky Rader and other stars were present.
The two-level retail space totals 8,500 square feet (800 square meters). The store features expanded collections of women’s and men’s apparel, handbags, luggage, fine leather goods, shoes, jewelry and watches, eyewear, and cosmetics.
Clean lines and a neutral color palette dominate the interior of the new flagship. The designers used antique oak, golden marble inserts and light-colored wooden boiserie.
A special feature of the new store are built-in showcases reminiscent of closets. Shelves for placing goods from the new collection refer to classic brass structures. Gucci armchairs, leather sofas and a luxurious carpet complete the interior ambiance.
The flagship was designed following LEED principles to monitor and improve energy efficiency in line with Gucci’s global commitment to sustainability.
The new Gucci store spans two levels, boasting a retail space of 4,200 square feet.
