Chinese brand Miniso opened its first flagship store in the domestic market. The flagship is located on Chunxi Road, in the prestigious location of Chengdu, the capital of the Sichuan Province of China.
The new store has a total area of 1,000 square meters and an assortment of more than 7,000 articles. After the opening, traffic exceeded 10 thousand people daily, and sales were about 20 thousand dollars.
The flagship store offered consumers a huge selection of household items, including popular products created through licensing partnerships. Miniso continues to develop a line of merchandise with Disney, Marvel, the NBA and other brands, bringing its customers an emotional shopping experience.

The Chinese retailer spent 140 million yuan, the equivalent of $20 million, to develop licensed collections in 2022. The brand introduced Strawberry Bear, Pixar, and Kuromi concept areas in the new store to attract more young audiences. In addition, the mono store opened the world’s first fragrance museum, created in collaboration with the Swiss company Firmenich.
Miniso’s sales in China reached a record 1.3 billion yuan, or $190 million, in January 2023. As of the third quarter of 2022, the brand operates in 105 countries, operating a retail chain of 5,300 stores, including 3,270 in the Middle Kingdom.
