Hersheypark draws its season from well outside Dauphin County, and Tanger Hershey sits off Hershey Park Drive to catch that traffic. Tanger frames the location around visitors to Hershey’s chocolate-themed attractions, naming the park as the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania. The center holds 250,000 square feet at 46 Outlet Square against a metropolitan statistical area population of 602,752.
Tanger lists Harrisburg at 15 miles, York at 20 and Lancaster at 25, three separate markets inside a half-hour band. Its published trade area work, sourced to ESRI 2024 demographics, 2024 Alexander Babbage trade areas and 2024 Placer.ai foot traffic, gives a drawing population of 1.6 million across 614,000 households, average household income of $109,000 and 3.5 million annual visits.
Coach, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger sit at the top of the price range, with Ann Taylor Factory Store, Talbots Outlet, Chico’s Outlet and Loft Outlet covering women’s apparel. Athletic and outerwear come from Nike Factory Store, Adidas, Puma Outlet, Under Armour and Columbia Factory Store. Gap Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, Banana Republic Factory and Levi’s Outlet handle volume. Carter’s Babies and Kids, Janie and Jack and Build-A-Bear Workshop Outlet give the center a children’s cluster.
Several tenants sit outside the core fashion-outlet mix. Board and Brush Hershey runs a DIY workshop, As Seen on TV is an impulse and gift format, and Rally House carries local team merchandise. Prepared-food options are limited to Starbucks Coffee and Subway, while Beef Jerky Experience adds specialty food retail. Tanger’s current Hershey directory contains 54 published store entries.
