Millenium Hall

Develop Investment opened Millennium Hall on October 15, 2011, the first cultural-and-commercial center of its kind in Poland’s Podkarpackie region, on Aleja Majora Wacława Kopisto in Rzeszów. Construction began in May 2006 under a different original developer, stalled, and was ultimately completed by Develop Investment (led by Marta Półtorak) after the company bought the unfinished project for 191 million PLN plus VAT in early 2010; architecture firm Studio Archi 5 designed the property, with Kraków-based Grupa CMP as general contractor.

At roughly 56,600 to 57,000 sqm of retail space within a total building area exceeding 108,000 sqm, Millennium Hall carries more than 250 stores, becoming the largest shopping center in the Podkarpackie region. Zara, H&M, Mango, Massimo Dutti and Stradivarius carry international fashion alongside Vistula and Wojas for Polish menswear and footwear brands.

The property integrates well beyond conventional retail: a Hilton Garden Inn hotel operates on site, alongside a cinema multiplex, and Millenium Skwer, an outdoor square used for concerts and public events. The original architectural concept had called for a 4,000-seat performance hall as part of the project, though the final built version scaled back that specific ambition.

That origin story, a stalled construction project rescued and completed by a different developer five years after groundbreaking, combined with a genuinely mixed-use program spanning hotel, cinema and public event space, distinguishes Millennium Hall from more conventional single-phase Polish regional malls built in a single continuous construction run.
