M&S will take over Debenhams in Liverpool

The opening of the new store is part of the retailer’s renewed strategy.

British retailer Marks & Spencer will be a tenant at Liverpool One Mall. The company is preparing to open a new department store of about 100,000 square feet.

The M&S store will be located in the space previously leased by Debenhams. The department store was finally closed in May 2021. M&S will move its current flagship from Church Street to Liverpool One.

The two-story retail space will showcase the retailer’s latest department store retail concept, featuring innovation and technology to benefit the shopping experience.

The new M&S department store will feature men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and footwear departments, as well as home goods. In addition, the retailer will offer its customers a full-service café, a food hall with a Coffee To Go section, a Food To Go section, and a bakery.
