Lego unveils the largest store in the world

Lego reopened its expanded Leicester Square store on August 10, 2022, after four months of refurbishment, making it the world’s largest Lego store.

Lego reopened its Leicester Square store in London’s West End on August 10, 2022, in the company’s 90th anniversary year. After a four-month refurbishment, the expanded store became the world’s largest Lego store.

The brick-built displays feature James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, Gringotts and Diagon Alley from Harry Potter, and William Shakespeare waiting at a bus stop beside a red double-decker bus. Other models include Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.

The store also has a Personalisation Studio, where visitors can create a minifigure or a mosaic portrait of themselves. An interactive storytelling area explores the company’s history through products from the Lego vault. The centerpiece, the Tree of Discovery, is an interactive model with windows in its rainbow-colored trunk.

The reopening offers included a Lego Store set with purchases of £120 or more from August 10 to 14, 2022, and a Lego Delivery Truck for VIP members spending at least £75 from August 15 to 18, 2022.
