The official opening of the flagship store at Drottninggatan 53 is scheduled for September 30, 2022.

Casual women’s clothing brand Monki (part of H&M Group) is preparing to open a flagship store in its home country in Stockholm. The key features of the new retail space will be experience & community area, Monki Preloved fashion space and creative collab with illustrator Vanja Ivarsson.
The official opening of the flagship store at Drottninggatan 53 is scheduled for September 30, 2022. The total area of Monki’s flagship store in the Swedish capital will be 550 square meters.
“Opening a flagship store on this iconic shopping street in the Swedish capital makes us, as a brand, feel at home. We are incredibly proud and can’t wait to share this new space with our Stockholm community,” the company’s press office commented.
A public area in the store will be created so that customers can communicate and interact with each other. The company will attract specialists to organize workshops, activities and themed events.
In the Monki Preloved zone, in accordance with the latest eco-trends in retail, used items will be sold. The partner in the project will be the Sellpy company. Several similar sections were previously launched in other Monki locations in Swedish cities.
The new store will be equipped with technological digital cash desks, where you can scan and pay for purchases yourself using your smartphone.
To celebrate the opening, the flagship store will host a number of entertainment events, and the first 100 customers will receive a 40% discount on purchases. Creator Studio’s AR kiosk will also be open this weekend to create your own print, which will be printed and delivered to the customer’s address within days.
